There is so much more to explore in the BFF world.

And here, on this page, you’ll get to see some of it. Maybe you’ll find a lost chapter or two that didn’t make it to the final published versions.

Or maybe just a deleted scene… like a peek behind the curtain of how we got here.

Your first treat is an ARC of a novella you can access below that takes place in the BFF Nexus. I originally wanted to write a short story for you readers and fans to digest while waiting for the next Volume in the series to be released, but—I wrote you a long one instead: a 17,000 word novella called \bloodborn told by a female character we meet in the second book, Renika.

You’ll find the links below.

I have a lot of notes, backstory data, and bits and pieces of research and writing and ancient architectural drawings that some of you may find interesting. I have to go through all of it and decide what you can see (and what you can’t just yet). So bear with me as I do that. For now, check out what’s here. And if you want something specific, ask me on instagram or twitter. Who knows, maybe I dig in the archives and offer it up.

Read The First Backslash Novella

Here you go. \bloodborn is a stand-alone story, which can be read in any order with the BFF series. It will give you a deeper understanding of things that have happened in the BFF books so far and a shadow of things yet to come.

It’s November 1963. Over the last three days, Renika has changed history, killed a man who posed an existential threat, brought down a plane looking too closely at things that needed to stay hidden, and urged another man to locate his mysterious 49 square mile “Florida Project” ten miles to north of where he wants to put it in order to keep a secret danger buried in the alligator-infested mud.
